COASTAL
single estate
HONEY
The
Estate
Bermagooey is produced on a private property where pasture, bushland and ocean meet.
Surrounded by protected native forest, coastal heath and sheltered bushland, the estate offers a foraging environment shaped by fresh coastal air and season. Finding adjacent coastal and forest terroir is uncommon in Australian honey.
Our apiary is intentionally limited: production follows the land, not demand.
The land leads.
We follow.

The
bees
Managed, not multiplied
Hive numbers are capped to protect forage quality and colony health, while our bees forage freely across the surrounding coastal landscape.
The bees work at a natural pace, responding to seasonal flowering rather than production targets. We don’t chase yield.
No stimulants.
No artificial feeding during flow.
No pressure beyond what the land provides.
The bees do the work. We create the conditions.
HEALTHY BEES PRODUCE BETTER HONEY
The
Honey
Raw. Local. Unprocessed.
Season, weather and forage influence the honey’s colour, texture and flavour.
Our honey is taken from 100% natural comb and cold pressed at low temperatures. It is never heat treated or pasteurised.
No pollutants.
No preservatives.
No additives.
No added sugar.
No processing.

The
Harvest
Honey for all seasons
Spring
Harvested primarily from blue gum, casuarina, lemonwood, sea lavender and tea tree.
Spring honey is light and composed, with a quiet sweetness. Though delicate, it has settled in the jar with a gentle caramelised warmth.
Summer
Harvested primarily from banksia, blue gum, coastal rosemary, grey gum, ironbark and stringybark.
Summer honey is fuller and more generous in character. It has a naturally viscous texture — slow, rounded, and deeply satisfying on the palate.
Autumn
Harvested primarily from forest red gum, spotted gum, hakea, currajong and red bloodwood.
Autumn honey carries the most distinctive character. Floral notes deepen and darken, with a complexity that lingers rather than fades.
Winter
Harvested primarily from beard heath, lantern banksia, lemon-scented gum and tea tree.
Winter honey is subtle and restrained; less about sweetness, more about clarity. Shaped by what the season allows.
WHAT’S IN THE JAR IS WHAT FLOWERED THAT SEASON
